Because AT&T Broadband was bought recently, we’ve been given a new e-mail address. The new address is:
abmccreath@attbi.com
Our respective work addresses remain the same.

Are you sure that % is the symbol rather than @?

Very odd... The software somehow changed it (no, really!), so I've corrected it. But it took a couple of tries.

I'm sorry ... I changed it and I should have told you.
Here's why: the quickest way to get on a spam list is to post your email address on a web page. The spammers send out spiders to harvest any text string that looks like 'something@something.something'. The key points are the 'at' symbol and the dot, separated by some text.
By changing the '@' for %40 (which is the character-code equivalent), you greatly increase your chances of being skipped. The HTML parser in your browser is smart enough to change it into an '@', but since the announcement list is sent out in plain text, it showed up as the straight code.
And yes, I can update anyone's page at any time. Did I mention that? Obviously I wouldn't unless I thought there was a good reason, and I meant to email you and let you know, Brian, but I got busy and never did it.
I'll let you make the change and leave your pages alone. Sorry for the confusion.

Weird. I've used the %40 trick before with no problem, but it doesn't seem to be working here. I went ahead and changed the %40 to @, which is the HTML numerical character equivalent (so many ways to write one little symbol!), and it's working properly now.

Just a good example of the fact that we need to be careful what we put on the web site. Anyone can get to this. Its still a great tool. and thanks for putting it together David and keeping us out of trouble.
