Tutu

Last week Amy and I went with some MIT students to a service at the Episcopal Cathedral in Boston. Archbishop Desmond Tutu was the preacher, so the place was completely packed out.

As you might expect, considering the source, the sermon was really fantastic. Nothing so completely revolutionary, but just a very welcome voice to hear amidst current events.

And the really good news is that you can hear it too! Amy was able to arrange for the service to be broadcast and archived on the web site for the Technology and Culture Forum at MIT (that’s the lecture/discussion series she organizes). If you’d like to hear the homily (or any other part of the service for that matter) go to

http://web.mit.edu/tac/www/

click on Recent Forums, and you’ll see the specific link.

To hear only the sermon, forward your audio player to about the 29th minute.

Listening to sermons while sitting at the computer may not be the first way you’d think of spending your free time, but in this case, we highly recommend it!
