A cool interview
posted by Brian on May 23, 2002 at 05:53 PM
Hey everyone, this Sunday, a musician I represent is going to be on NPR’s Weekend Edition Sunday.
Guy Livingston is the creator of “60 Seconds for Piano”, which is a program made up entirely of original commissions of about 1 minute each. Very weird, very entertaining. He’ll be talking about the project and playing some of the pieces from NPR’s studios. It’s scheduled to be on at 9:40 Eastern, and repeated at 11:40 and 1:40 Eastern. So check your local listings, tune in, and have fun!

I liked the interview. It helped the CD make a little more sense. (For those who don't know, Brian gave me this CD for Christmas.) Of course, I like the CD for its experimental aspect, but I don't really know enough about piano music to understand some of what's going on. Anyway, thanks for the heads-up on the interview.
